help me figure out the truth about mortgage companies!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
I recently got hired as a junior loan officer for mortgage group that helps you refinance your current mortgage loan. My job is to cold call as a Tele marketer and get peoples info and give that application to my senior loan officer and he processes the loan. Now the question is mostly everyone there claim that they average around $17000 to $22000 a month, i repeat a month! now is it true? can Loan officers make that kinda money on monthly basis? One of my seniors even claims that he made $60k one month!
Does anyone have any facts on Loan officers?

Yes you can make that kind of money. and it really isn’t that hard especially when you have a telemarketer finding the deals for you. Think about this… you can make a point or two on a loan which means 1-2% of the loan amount. $500,000 loan gets $5,000-$10,000 right there. So do 3 loans a month at that rate with someone (you) finding the deals for them and voila 17-22,000/month
Did the greedy banksters buy toxic loans loans like you buy a “pig in a poke”?
Not one member of the U.S. Congress define exactly what are in these traunches of toxic loans. You do not know either, do you? It was setup by dumb people in congress who passed laws that enabled mortgage banking originators to process disguised BS as valuable assets. Turned out to be a bag of BS. Now you have it, and the bailouts and stimulus bills, unemployment and depression roll down hill. The greatest swindle, ever in the world. Only have Bernie Madoff so far. No senators, representative, regulators or one banker or loan broker. Nobody is to blame they say except those irresponsible citizens who lost their jobs and cannot make payments. Bamboozled again.
