GMAC loan modification can give you another shot at home ownership. This could be an answered prayer to your mortgage woes. This could be your chance of keeping your home.

Many homeowners are going through a rough time in their home ownership and they are not exactly to blame. Times might have been good and the payments easy when the mortgage was signed. The recession is taunted the culprit for many cases of foreclosure and bankruptcy. Loss of jobs, fluctuating interest rates, weakening currency and industries are just some of the effects of the economic crisis. What was once an easy-to-pay mortgage has now become a struggle. Money and jobs are hard to come by hence, this has become the turn of events for many homeowners.

This problem is what the government intended to address before the downfall of the house market can get any worse. If your home loan is with GMAC, you are in good hands. GMAC is on the list of approved lenders of the Treasury Department for this loan modification program.

How can you qualify for a GMAC loan modification, you might ask. Here’s a basic list:

* the house in question is a primary residence

* the loan was written by GMAC on or before January 1, 2009

* the loan is not more than $729,750

* the loan is backed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac

GMAC loan modification can do wonders for your present circumstances. It can lower your interest rate, extend the period of your loan terms, forego late fees and other incidental charges, decrease the principal owed, etc. With all these said, it is indeed worth it to go through the meticulous process of applying for a loan modification. Anything that can make you save your home is all worth it, don’t you think?

loan administration jobs Questions

how to pay large student loans?

i graduated from college last year and the student loans are coming in. They are around 80,000 dollars. Is their any way to condense them into one loan? I have a job but it is just a little above minimum wage. I was a business administration graduate but the economy fell through so I haven’t found a decient paying job. Any ideas. Thanks

Yes, you can consolidate them; but I would wait it out for 5 months. I think the loan interest rate resets on either June 1st or July 1st. The current interest rate is around 7%, it should come down. In the mean time, find a way to start knocking those things down.

I am right behind you. I have my BS in Biology, BS in Chemistry, BA in Computer Science and an MD (medicine). I am currently working on my MBA.

Cheers

ADVISE: are you a professional in the IT industry?

I am graduating with a Bachelor in Business Administration with emphasis in Information Systems.
I have taken only 1 course of java and 1 course of SQL and 1 course of networking.

I think my degree sucks but I need to pay my loans back (I owe around $45,000. I need to study something else, I know, so as to put in my resume. I like programming, I like databases, I am ok with networking but not as much as databases and programming. Please give me an advise on what should I learn so I can be more marketable in the job market.

Based on your advise, I will go to amazon.com and buy a book and learn it. Please serious responses.
Thank you
Please only the ones in the IT industry.

If you are looking forward to a career in Database adminstration, you can study Oracle DBA, if you have an emphasis on web programming, then you can study php-mysql,
If you want to have employment in big companies then Java-JSP-Oracle (Database programming in Java) for different databases will be helpful.
If you want to specialize in databases , the you have to have at least working knowledge of all the major databases.

Oracle – is used mostly in Commercial Establishmets)
(SAP is another option for Large Companies)
MS SQL, SQL Server is a choice in smaller companies, and in some web applications (It is used with ASP – microsoft’s scripting language for web applications)

In Open source , PHP and MySQL is mostly used in web applications

(You can find a lot of useful tutorial etc on web)
